Computer Lab
The Computer Lab is located directly above the Learning Resource Centre in Room 122 on the first floor of Southcott Hall. The lab contains 24 computers and access to two laser printers and a colour printer.
Software available on the lab computers includes word processing, presentation programs, Internet and e-mail access. Students can access a number of health-related databases including CINAHL and MedLine. There is also a large collection of course-related programs. Check with our circulation staff for details.
Printing is available on a user-pay basis. Students may add money to their printing account at the circulation desk or the computer lab.
Computer Lab Policies
- Only authorized users, i.e. faculty, registered students of the Centre for Nursing Studies and other specially authorized individuals, are permitted to use the lab. Students may be asked to show their student ID when booking or using the lab.
- Trained support staff are available to provide general software guidance and to troubleshoot equipment and software problems. Our Computer Lab staff strives to provide you with an environment where you can practice safe computing.
- Hours of operation are the same as the Learning Resource Centre. Any changes in hours will be posted.
- Fall 2023 hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
